Evaluation - Using Conventions of Real Media Products - Jingles

When doing my research into jingles, I found that there are many different types of jingles that help give a variety of different radio shows and the station a clear identity of what is provided, reagrdless of the location where it is based. After listening to a range of stations such as Capital FM, Kiss FM, Pirate FM, to name a few, I noticed that not only are jingles heard regularly, but also the way that they're constructed also reflects the genre of the radio station. This therefore tells us which type of audience will be most suited for the radio stations.

                                                           Jingle Post

If you listen to my station jingle you will find what I have researched into and how I made it to my own, unique jingle.

As you can hear, I've included an electric sound effect to reflect the station's slogan 'Enfield Pop FM'. There is also an impact sound at then end because I wanted a sound which can link to the electric sound effect. Both of these effects highlight that the radio station is aimed at a younger audience of around 18-35.

My news jingle was played right after the advertisements.  Below is the clips of the edited audio for the jingle, with the effects added and with no effects added.
