My Focus Group & Station Name

I have conducted the focus group into voting which station name I should name my radio, and the most popular name that was chosen from them was Enfield Pop FM.

How I went about doing this was that I gathered  people who would be willing helping me choose a suitable name. I told them to mark each name I gave out of 10. Enfield Beat FM scored 6/10. The members said it gives the audience the location of the radio station. Also, a few members said that the term 'beat' can be seen in any kind of song genre.

PopSmoke FM scored 2/10. I found this quite surprising, but members of the focus group all agreed with each other. However, one member even suggested that this radio station name might be already heard and seen from a game.

Enfield FM scored 3.5/10. It was popular among some members of the focus group but many suggested that it does not tell the audience what to expect from the station because there could be music or no music.

PopBeat FM scored 5/10. A couple of members said that this title is suitable but does not reflect the area the radio station will be at. However, the station with an average of 9/10 was Enfield Pop FM because it appealed to the members of the focus group and shows that Enfield has pop music.

As a result of conducting a focus group to help me with the station name, I have decided to go with the name Enfield Pop FM.
